Introduction

The Inmarsat-C standard is a messaging service over satellite, via very small-sized and reliable equipments.

It allows anybody to have a security system on board, on a ship or a vehicle, and can be at the GMDSS conformity.

Characteristics

The Inmarsat-C is a messaging offers its users a total freedom of communication, in confidency.

The C standard allows exchange of messages in Telex, Fax, e-mails, to fixed, or to other satellite equipment, to access the minitel, and a GPS can be integrated. Messages can be sent to a secure mailbox, on which the consignee can consult them.

As terrestrial as maritime, this services of data transfers, compatible GMSDSS for certain versions, will give you satisfaction on a global coverage.
