Docking Station

The IsatDock2 Marine is an intelligent maritime docking station designed to transform an IsatPhone 2 handset into a fixed onboard communication terminal for vessels, boats, or coastal installations. It provides continuous power, a standard telephone interface, hands-free speakerphone capability, and ensures stable, reliable communications even in demanding marine environments.

Key Features

Standard Telephone Interface & Flexible Installation

The station provides an intelligent RJ11 / POTS interface compatible with wired handsets, cordless or DECT phones, or PABX systems. Cabling can run up to 600 m from the docking unit, offering excellent flexibility when arranging communication points on board.

Satellite Communication via IsatPhone 2 & Alert Functions

While docked, the IsatPhone 2 retains its voice, SMS, circuit-switched data, GPS, tracking, and personal alert capabilities. The station supports “Personal Alert”: a dedicated button on the dock sends GPS position + a distress or assistance message instantly, highly valuable for maritime safety.

Rugged Marine Design & Versatile Power Input

The dock is IP54-rated, making it resistant to dust and splashes, suitable for marine environments. It operates on 10–32 V DC, and an AC power supply (110–240 V) is included. Its low standby power consumption makes it a practical choice for vessels or remote installations.
