Key Features

Dual-mode BGAN + cellular / automatic failover

The terminal operates first on the BGAN satellite network to ensure global coverage. But when a local cellular network (or external modem) is available, it can automatically switch over, making the connection more economical or faster depending on the situation. Ideal for fixed or mobile installations in both urban and rural areas.

Reliable IP data & M2M communication

It supports up to 464 kbps in standard IP, sufficient for telemetry, data reporting, VPN, monitoring, file transfer, etc. and streaming IP at 32 / 64 / 128 kbps. Although optimized for M2M (machine-to-machine) rather than voice, it serves as an excellent platform for sensors, SCADA systems, alarm reporting, or remote management.

Rugged construction for harsh environments

With an IP66-rated housing (dustproof and water-resistant) and designed to withstand a 0.5 m drop onto concrete (95% survival), the 540 M2M is built for outdoor use, fixed installations, or protected setups. Its compact form factor (202 × 202 × 51.8 mm) and moderate weight (~1.6 kg) facilitate installation on masts, roofs, vehicles, or remote sites.
