The SmartOne Solar is a satellite tracker dedicated to asset monitoring, powered by a solar panel with an integrated antenna. This IoT beacon transmits your equipment’s GPS location over the Globalstar network, with no wiring or external power. Solar charging keeps it running for up to 10 years without maintenance, including in demanding environments. Our E-SAT teams deploy it to track fixed or mobile assets in remote areas.

Standard Messaging & Alert Functions

The device supports standard messaging along with essential features such as automatic wake-up, GPS positioning and location reporting. It allows retention of sleep parameters and offers 12 programmable settings for defining wake and sleep cycles. An alternate reporting format can also be generated depending on operational needs.

Intelligent Scheduling & Automated Tracking

Supervisory reports can be scheduled or triggered by alarms or motion detection, ensuring continuous monitoring. GPS location can be transmitted at regular intervals, over a programmed duration, or as long as an alarm remains active. Thanks to its built-in accelerometer, the device automatically sends messages on start/stop events and adjusts reporting intervals during sustained movement.

Location Change Detection & Power-Saving Mode

A theft alert report can be generated based on distance travelled, enhancing asset security and monitoring. To optimize energy consumption, a reduced messaging mode is available while still maintaining the ability to transmit essential data.

Advanced Interfaces & Extended Connectivity

The device allows custom message creation and offers serial (TTL) input/output capability to easily interface passive or smart sensors remotely. Two dry-contact or voltage inputs can monitor engine running time or a tank level, for example. A built-in Bluetooth interface makes configuration and firmware updates easier, without opening the housing.

Certified for Hazardous Environments

The SmartOne Solar is the only intrinsically safe solar asset tracker certified ATEX Zone 0 and HERO. It can be installed in direct contact with explosive atmospheres: oil, gas, mining and chemical sites. Its IP68 and IP69K ratings and MIL-STD-810G compliance complete this ruggedness, from -40 °C to +65 °C. Your project stays compliant with classified-area requirements.
